Tagar has been used traditionally to treat intestinal spasms, nervous stomach (digestion influenced by the stomach), and colic (severe abdominal pain, usually in babies). Tagar has a bitter taste that may aid digestion and appetite. It can also be used as a carminative and a gas reliever.
